AI Services

• Anthropic (Claude AI) — Used to synthesize articles from multiple news sources. Article text submitted for synthesis may be processed by Anthropic in accordance with their Privacy Policy. No user personal data is sent to Anthropic.

These service providers are contractually obligated to protect data and are prohibited from using it for their own purposes.

AI-Generated Content

All articles on CrossChecked News are synthesized by Claude AI (Anthropic) from publicly available news sources. Users should be aware:

• Articles are AI-generated summaries, not original reporting
• Source articles are attributed and linked where available
• AI synthesis may contain errors or omissions despite our quality controls
• Conflict flags and bias scoring are algorithmically generated and should not be treated as definitive editorial judgments
• CrossChecked News does not represent, endorse, or guarantee the accuracy of source material from third-party outlets

Data Retention

Server logs and analytics data are retained for a maximum of 90 days, after which they are automatically deleted or anonymized. Article content is retained indefinitely as part of our news archive. We do not retain any personal user data because we do not collect it.

Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights regarding personal data. Since CrossChecked News does not collect personal data, most data subject rights (access, correction, deletion) are satisfied by default — there is no personal data to access, correct, or delete.
